DZMC 98.3 (98.3 MHz in Metro Manila) is a low-power FM campus radio station owned by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila College of Communication with an ongoing NTC application for license to operate.[1] It broadcasts from the Campus Radio Station of the College of Communication Building, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Anonas Street, Sta. Mesa, Manila. It is used as a laboratory for the College of Communication (COC) students of the university. Its programming tentatively include news, sports, educational/children's programs, talk shows, commentaries, to music programs and request shows, mostly geared towards the interests of students, faculty and administration. The station randomly operates from 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays. Broadcast-free during semestral breaks.

Campus radio (also known as college radio, university radio or student radio) is a type of radio station that is run by the students of a college, university or other educational institution. Programming may be exclusively by students, or may include programmers from the wider community in which the station is based. Sometimes campus stations are operated for the purpose of training professional radio personnel, sometimes with the aim of broadcasting educational programming, while other stations exist to provide an alternative to commercial or government broadcasters.

Campus radio stations are generally licensed and regulated by national governments, and so have very different characteristics from one country to the next. One commonality between many stations regardless of their physical location is a willingness — or, in some countries, even a licensing requirement — to broadcast musical selections that are not categorized as commercial hits. Because of this, campus radio has come to be associated with emerging musical trends, including genres such as alternative rock in the latter portion of the 20th century, and hip hop before that genre had become part of the musical mainstream. Campus radio stations also often provide airplay and promotional exposure to new and emerging local artists.

As part of the facilities of SoundFM we have a newly renovated digital multi-track recording studio, called "The Palindrome". The studio features professional microphones (Neumann, AKG, Shoeps, Rode), Pro Tools LE digital multi-track recording, editing and mixing software, and reasonable rates.

CJSW-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 90.9 FM, from the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. CJSW is a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association[1].CJSW is also a member of the University of Calgary Tri-Media Alliance in partnership with NUTV the campus television station and The Gauntlet the campus newspaper.
